2019 Gernot Kostera Winners

These prestigious biathlon awards are named after the late Gernot Kostera, an avid supporter of biathlon in our province and a former President of the Alberta Biathlon Club. Gernot passed away a number of years ago but left a legacy behind in the form of his charitable foundation that supports these awards.  Since 2008 the Gernot Kostera Award is given annually to one male and one female aged 12-14.  The award amount for 2019 is $1000 per recipient. In addition, Gernot Kostera Summer Camp Awards are given to at one male and one female in the same age range, the award will be in the form of free registration to a summer biathlon training program in Alberta supported by ABC.

ABC, on behalf of the Gernot Kostera Charitable Foundation, would like to congratulate the 2019 Winners of the Kostera Awards.
