January 14, 2010. Calgary, AB. Alberta Biathlon Club hosted the 3rd installment of the Kinder Cup series of amateur biathlon competitions. Last night's race attracted 25 kids between the ages of 7 and 12. Mass start was the format of the race, which took place at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. This night event featured a very nice weather, but super icy race course that made skiing very fast and at times dangerous. Despite a few falls and bruises the kids battled through the icy conditions to finish the race and win some sweet treats and goodies from the organizers.

ABC would like to thank all volunteers who helped us make this event a success. The next Kinder Cup race will take place in Canmore, on Sunday, January 24, 2010.
